Biography

My passion for John Denver’s music began in the summer of 1974 when Annie’s Song first made its way to the radio waves. From that moment on, I was hooked! It was ten years later while watching him in concert at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta, that I first dreamed of one day being able to perform on stage too, entertaining audiences with the same music that made him so memorable.

I never believed my dream would become a reality. After all, I spent nearly 40 years as a chiropractor – first in Ocala, Florida, and then my wife and I moved our three children back to my childhood hometown of Daytona Beach, in 1998. Though I spent my days taking care of patients, I spent endless hours learning, practicing, and studying how to capture the true essence of this beloved music legend. It wasn’t until 2012 that I accepted an offer from a friend to sing a couple of John Denver’s hits at a local Eagles Lodge. The rest, as they say, is history. Today, I am known all over the world as a premier John Denver tribute artist, performing to sold-out audiences.

I have the utmost respect for John’s music, and you’ll find my tribute show a captivating walk down memory lane. Even better, my lifelong dream to perform has become a family affair. My wife of 39 years, Sherrie, is by my side at every show. You’ll also see our granddaughters, the joy of our lives, Carmen and Mason, performing a song or two with me at shows near home.

Whether you’re listening to my tribute albums, or watching the show live, I hope you’ll sit back, relax, and let yourself go wherever the music takes you, as John used to say. Be sure to enjoy my favorites like Annie’s song, Sunshine on the Shoulders, and Rocky Mountain High. And if I’m performing in your area, this is a show you won’t want to miss!
